Scott Edmondson, Senior Software Engineer
Scott Edmondson has been working in the IT Industry since 1983. He currently specialises in Microsoft .NET technologies and the programming language C#. An accomplished Microsoft Access developer, Scott settled in New Zealand from the US (by way of the Cook Islands) in 2005 and has been working with Cornerstone since his arrival.
Scott led a team of 8 engineers developing vertical market HR solutions used by Fortune 1000 companies (Director of the Systems Engineering Group of Advanced Information Management in Santa Barbara.) A software architect and hands-on developer, Scott's experience includes:
- C# and ASP.NET. Working as chief architect for enterprise-scale web applications supporting user populations of tens of thousands of users in load-balanced clusters and 'server farm' configurations.
- Design, development and deployment of client-server and 3-tier database applications using Visual Basic, MS-Access to SQL-Server and Oracle databases.
- Design and development of the system to support the National Superannuation Fund for the Cook Islands.
- Technical Consultant to the Naval Air Warfare Division, Weapons Division of the US Navy.
Scott studied Computer Sciences at the University of California, Santa Barbara, USA.
